Management fees are competitive with almost any alternative and cover all trading (no commissions), research, account access, etc.*  Currently Bob's only brokerage firm arrangements with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, and UBS.  Almost any broker and firm is doable.  

 

Bob buys stocks simultaneously with his clients. Thus, his interests are aligned with his clients’ interests.

 

Capital Contributions – Votes of Confidence. The first account started 18 years ago with $25,000, and that client, a business pension account encompassing about 25 employees currently, has contributed an added over $535,000 over the past 18 years, for a total account value about $1,000,000 now.  Broker and broker family investments, as well as Bob's own family and other family business investments, are significant.

 

Minimum investment: $200,000 cash or stock, regular or retirement funds.  Minimum net worth is usually $1.5 million.

 
Investment Procedure
  1. Request the investment advisory contract.
  2. Complete and submit the new account forms via

*The median mutual fund cost 2.18% annually according to a 2001 study by Chalmers, Edelson and Kadlee of the Lundquist School of Business, U. of Oregon.  A 2004 study by Edward O'Neal of Wake Forest University and Jason Karceski and Miles Livingston of the University of Florida, analyzed 5,000 mutual funds.
